Every Sunday, we gather at Common Good Tacoma’s First UMC Banquet Hall on 621 Tacoma Ave. S., Tacoma 98402 from 9:30am-11am for our Outreach Prep, where we prepare hot meals and hygiene packs for distribution to our unhoused neighbors. Community members are welcome to drop by with donations or to drop-in to help out. This is a space to connect and build around the tradition of mutual aid and collective care. *2024 Update: We love and appreciate this space to connect and build in community. While we welcome those who are new to this space to join us any Outreach Prep Day, our biggest needs are for procurement of donations / supplies for our neighbors. Please consider other ways you can show up in this work: spreading the word about supplies needs to your networks, rallying your circles to pull together some funds to support our mutual aid efforts, and learning/teaching others about micro-ways that you can practice collective care in your day-to-day life.
